Johnny Le Films

Johnny Le Films is the work of Johnny Le. His influences of filmmaking come from shooting VX-1000 skateboarding footage with his friends at Portland's Cal's Pharmacy. After spending three years documenting his friends, the shop's first full length video, "The Pharmacy Video" (2006) came to life. During his years in film school, Johnny worked at footwear giant adidas first, in sales building up adidas Skateboarding and second, as a merchandising assistant for adidas Originals. At the same time, he produced music videos, documentaries and short films with his peers. Johnny is a graduate from the Art Institute of Portland and is freelancing as a director, producer and shooter for short form documentaries, short films, music videos and new media content. He also enjoys collaborating with friends that revolve around filmmaking and skateboarding. He is currently residing in Portland, OR.

Le's short film 'Lick' is official selection at the 2009 Palm Springs International Shortfest.
